FAQs
Q
I've never been to a film festival before, how does it work?
A
A film festival is a multi-day showcase of dozens of films carefully selected by a qualified panel of screeners and judges. You'll get the opportunity to watch short (15 minutes or less) and feature length films sent in from all over the world, from comedies to documentaries and everythingn in between. Enjoy the company of fellow moviegoers, meet and hear from some of the filmmakers, eat great food, partake in locally hosted activities, and celebrate and honor our town's rich movie history.
Q
Do I have to attend all three days, or can I just go to one day, or see just one film?
A
We offer Multi-day and Single Day passes. Because of how the days are structured, feature length films will be paired with short films, so we don't sell individually priced movie tickets like in a traditional theatre. We do however sell Film Block tickets at the door so you can sample a 2-3 hour film block .... or take the whole day to indulge in the arts!
Q
My kids are into movies - can they come?
A
We absolutely love parents who want to get their kids excited about film and the excitement it can bring to life! The minimum age to attend is 12. Please use your best judgement as to whether your child is ready for an event like this. Any films rated R will be noted.
Q
I'd love to be more involved in the Fest, can I volunteer or sponsor this event?
A
Yes please! We are always looking for passionate, driven people to assist us in the planning and extra hands day of to make it all come to life; our volunteers are the heartbeat of the Fest and help us run a smooth event with our top-notch hospitality that we've become known for! We also could not put this event on without the financial support of local / national businesses, and we're a 501c3 Non-Profit so your donation is 100% tax deductible. If you'd like to volunteer or interested in seeing our Sponsorship packages, please send us an email, we'd love to hear from you!
